Grammy Award nominee Vanessa Carlton will be performing a sola acoustic set at WCEP’s venue PURE SPACE tonight to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

WCEP partnered with Cindy Thompson Event Productions to create two summer events that helped the community “honor the past, celebrate the present and imagine the future.”
In addition to a large Centennial Festival event in July at Luscher Farm, the celebration continued in August with Grow and Gather: A Dinner Celebrating Sustainability. Chefs from Lake Oswego restaurants came together and prepared a 5-course farm feast to support the Lake Oswego School District’s new Sustainability Fund. Guests gathered under a large pole tent and were served family style at long banquet tables accessorized with dalias in bell jars provided by the Lake Oswego Garden Club.

Foundation 10-10 will be hosting their 10-10-10 Portland Charity Gala benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at WCEP’s PURE SPACE. The evening will focus on raising money to find a cure for childhood Leukemia.
“We are so pleased to have secured Pure Space for 10-10-10 Portland, because it will be a magnificent setting for one of the most unique events of the year,” said Stacy English, Vice President of Foundation 10-10 “Pure Space is modern and open, befitting of the scale of the event that we are hosting.”
10-10-10 Portland will feature ten of Portland’s top chefs in the Portland Chef Face-off competing for guest votes, as well as a live performance by three-time Grammy nominee Vanessa Carlton.

This week, WCEP and their Las Vegas branch – Hollywood Event Design Group – travelled to Southern California for an evening in an airplane hangar hosted by Cessna and TWC Aviation.
3 Cessna aircraft models were on display surrounded by a 350 square foot perimeter of up-lit white chiffon and tall white urns with agave plants. To add to the ultra-lounge feel of the evening, the hangar was interspersed with white tufted leather lounge seating with green accents and WCEP’s new white “O” vases with calla lily arrangements.
